The Role
The Student Opportunities Intern will complete a 12-month rotational placement within the Student Opportunities team, supported by the Student Opportunities Manager (Operations). The role involves supporting the delivery of services and initiatives related to volunteering, part-time employment, DBS appointments, internships, global opportunities, study abroad and student events. They will also provide excellent customer service by responding to requests submitted via the Student Hub.
Required Skills and Experience
1. York St John University 2025 Graduate
2. Confident in speaking to students on a one-to-one basis and in groups
3. Passion to promote our range of activities and opportunities and to engage students
4. Excellent IT skills, including use of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
5. Knowledge and understanding of the advantages of gaining a range of experiences while at university and how these can enhance employability
