We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our clients' project team on a fixed term contract for 6 months.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the project, until completion. It is a new build care home facility in Chester with circa £13m left to complete of a £48m total project value. You will work closely with the site team to understand the project requirements and develop effective strategies to deliver a successful outcome. This role is ideal for a dynamic and results‑driven individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
* Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget
* Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
* Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
* Conduct weekly project meetings and provide accurate meeting minutes and action items
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
* Manage project change requests and assess their impact on timelines and budgets
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, or a related field
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a main contractor environment
* Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
