Job Role: Electrical Supervisor
Location: HMP Woodhill, Tattenhoe Street, Milton Keynes, MK4 4DA
Salary: £42,818.21
Contract: Full time/Permanent
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Woodhill, a High Security & Adult/Male prison. We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor with any combination of qualifications listed below.
Responsibilities
* Supervise electrical staff and coordinate building services for commercial/industrial environments
* Work alongside trades including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators to maintain a safe and secure environment
* Contribute to the safe, smooth operation of the facilities within the prison setting
Qualifications
* Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
* Experience of supervising staff
* Full driving license preferably with D1
* C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations
* 17th or 18th Edition
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
