We’re looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant to join
our small, friendly and busy marketing crew at Harbour Hotels. Please note,
this role is office-based in Christchurch, Dorset, with some hybrid working permitted.
Our team is responsible for all the marketing for the 15
Harbour Hotels across the country, so this is a varied role that will see you
taking on different marketing tasks each day and working with a wide number of key
contacts from across the business.
What you'll get up to:
* Assisting
in writing and designing marketing content for our digital and print
marketing channels – this could include our email campaigns, website, paid
and organic social media and our print materials
* Assisting
in monitoring our social media channels and interacting with our community
of customers
* Helping
to generate reports from Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing
Intelligence and other digital platforms
* Keeping
our website up to date
* Researching
information for articles on our website and trends for our social media
* Assisting
with day-to-day administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth
running of our marketing campaigns, such as updating contact lists, making
print orders and proof-reading menus
* Assisting
at photo and video shoots
* Helping
to run events such as restaurant launches
* You'll
be part of a small nimble team who are experts in their areas, reporting
directly to the Digital Marketing Manager
* Working
in beautiful Christchurch and near its stunning beaches - perfect for
after-work activities
Who you are:
* You
have some relevant experience working in marketing and are looking to
progress
* You
have an interest in many areas of marketing and enjoy learning about
recent marketing trends and famous campaigns
* You
have excellent written English and good communication skills
* You
have impeccable attention to detail - including spelling and grammar
* You
enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in the success of the team
* You
have the confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the
business
