You'll also be a regular Duty Manager for the site. As Duty Manager, you'll be responsible on the day for the smooth running of the property during opening hours, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and customers in case of emergency, enquiry or complaint.Supervised by the Senior Collections and House Officer, you'll be responsible for routine conservation, preventive conservation, environmental monitoring and the annual programme of deep cleaning. Your attention to detail and expertise will help to ensure excellent standards of care throughout the house. You'll collect and record information gathered during cleaning and housekeeping, to improve our knowledge and understanding of the house and all that’s in it. This includes delegated responsibility for the collections management system.
