An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Nurse to work at an exceptional mental health hospital in South West London. You will join one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This centre offers high-quality treatment for conditions such as addictions, depression, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.
Requirements: Qualified RMN or RNLD with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist clinical knowledge, expertise, and support to the nursing team and wider MDT.
2. Oversee clinical and care needs of all service users, supporting primary nurses in working with patients, families, community teams, and stakeholders.
3. Ensure proactive clinical risk assessments and management are integral to planning care and interventions.
4. Review and challenge nursing practices constructively, leading by example and offering expert knowledge.
5. Educate and develop Registered Nurses and HCAs, ensuring safety and effectiveness in practice.
6. Contribute to nurse induction, preceptorship, and professional activities.
7. Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions.
8. Undertake competency assessments and support practice with Registered Nurses and HCAs.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in multidisciplinary clinical settings.
2. Confidence in leading across organizational boundaries.
3. Experience in service development projects.
4. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to individual needs.
5. Ability to work effectively with colleagues across disciplines and seniority levels.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of GBP50,375 - GBP56,329 per annum, with a permanent full-time role (38.5 hours/week). Benefits include:
