Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team in the hospitality sector. Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, and garnishes, assisting with stock management as needed.
* Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied when processing payments.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
* Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
