This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the CYP MH Clinical Lin a substantive role to help develop CYP mental health services within UHL and work in a liaison capacity with CAMHS CYP team to deliver collaborative systems and pathways for CYP in UHL with Mental health needs. As a strong clinical leader, this role will lead on the strategic development of clinical pathways, develop educational programmes for UHL staff, provide patient focused care and create a collaborative approach with the multidisciplinary team and wider stakeholders You will be presenting to UHL with MH challenges continue to rise and admission to the acute paediatric wards for CYP with MH illnesses or concerns are often complex cases, that have multiple clinical services involved and have prolonged length of stays prior to discharge. This would be a full time post to be incorporated into the Corporate Nursing Team to work collaboratively with the Matron for Children’s Safeguarding (due to the overlap of the more complex admitted patients) as well as the Lead Nurse for the Children’s Hospital and Children's Emergency Department, Matron for Learning Disability and the UHL Mental Health and Safeguarding Lead.
