About the Role
Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor or qualified Teacher looking for flexible work in a supportive secondary school?
We’re currently recruiting for day-to-day and short-term supply cover at a welcoming, high-achieving school in the Royston area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of subjects, gain valuable experience, and enjoy a great work-life balance.
As a Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher, you’ll:
* Supervise classes during teacher absences and deliver pre-prepared lessons
* Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
* Support students to stay engaged and on task
* Work flexibly across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of subjects
* Be available for short-notice and pre-booked cover days

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an experienced Cover Supervisor with classroom experience
* Confident managing groups of students independently
* Flexible, reliable and ready to work at short notice
* Passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development
* Able to travel to schools in and around South Cambridgeshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
