You will play a vital role in designing timber frame structures for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, ensuring structural integrity, compliance, and efficient fabrication. Key Responsibilities: * Produce detailed timber frame designs and drawings from architectural and structural input. * Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and manufacturing teams to develop buildable, compliant timber frame solutions. * Prepare fabrication drawings and specifications to support off-site manufacturing. * Review and ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and relevant standards. * Assist with technical queries and provide support during the construction phase. * Use CAD and BIM software to produce accurate and clear design documentation. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of timber construction technologies, materials, and regulations. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Timber Frame Designer or similar role in timber construction. * Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with BIM processes. * Strong understanding of timber frame construction methods, structural principles, and UK building regulations. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of sustainable construction practices is a plus.
