You felt like there was a clear plan of action at each stage of the process. That’s what this role is all about; not only scheduling interviews, but also ensuring candidates feel we care about every application - regardless of the outcome. This means you’ll get to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our hiring process from day one.
It’s an exciting time to join Cellular Origins; we’re entering a phase of growth and product development that will see strategic hires across a wide range of technical, engineering, and enabling functions. You’ll be the custodian of candidate experience, enabling the Talent Acquisition Partners to focus on sourcing and attracting high-quality applications.
As the Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll take charge of juggling complex diary management, booking interviews, and helping to ensure feedback is provided in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate complex interview scheduling across multiple stakeholders, functions, and time zones.
* Book interview rooms, manage on-site logistics, and set up video calls where required.
* Draft and send timely, professional candidate communications, including progression and rejection emails.
* Update the Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters) to maintain accurate candidate records.
* Provide interviewers with candidate information, CVs, and ATS profile links.
* Liaise closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to support delivery of recruitment outcomes.
* Contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency within the Talent Acquisition team.
* Comply with all quality management processes and organisational standards.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational and diary management skills.
* Excellent written communication and grammar.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Previous experience in administration isn't essential, but you’ll need clear evidence of strong organisational and communication skills.
* Collaborative, people-focused, and proactive.
* A self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility. We want people who love to learn and get to the heart of a problem.
* Collaborative and adaptable, able to build relationships and comfortable navigating a dynamic business environment.
* This role will be a full-time, 6-month fixed term contract. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site at our campus in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire.
