Role: Postperson with Driving
Location: Middlesbrough Delivery Office, TS8 0UD
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 days across Monday to Sunday, typically 09:00 to 15:00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work every other Sunday.
Summary: You will be delivering mail and parcels, working outdoors in all weather. It’s a physical role that keeps you fit and involves interacting with customers in your local community.

Responsibilities
The role involves delivering mail and parcels to local communities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. It requires enduring physical activity (walking for long periods, working outdoors in any weather) and providing friendly, reliable service to customers.

* Strong sense of community and pride in your work
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* Guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part time)
* Paid overtime with enhanced rate (1.25x) for more than 40 hours a week
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata for part time) with option to buy extra leave
