We're looking for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join our Engineering team and help keep our cutting-edge plant running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for delivering planned maintenance, tackling reactive repairs, and driving improvement projects that boost reliability and reduce downtime. You'll collaborate with production teams and fellow engineers to ensure our equipment performs at its best. Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
* Carry out planned maintenance inspections and condition reports in line with the site maintenance plan
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, keeping downtime to a minimum
* Lead and support corrective and reactive maintenance activities
* Participate in engineering project work, including refurbishments and new installations
* Conduct dynamic risk assessments and maintain a clean, safe working environment
* Monitor equipment performance and escalate issues to site management
* Log progress and updates in our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Contribute to daily operational review meetings and problem-solving workshops
* Work 4 on 4 off rotational days and nights
Qualifications and Experience
* A Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Experience in a manufacturing, production, or processing environment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Familiarity with CMMS systems and proactive maintenance strategies
* Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A hands-on, team-oriented approach with a drive to improve and innovate
