Senior Asset Data & Performance Analyst ScottishPower HQ Glasgow Salary up to £66,600 per annum (D.O.E) plus excellent benefits Hybrid, with flexible working pattern Closing Date: 20 October 2025 Help us create a better future, quicker As a Senior Asset Data Performance & Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal strategic role within the Network Data & Intelligence business area. You will lead the development of reporting frameworks and performance insights that underpin asset data governance and regulatory compliance. This role includes line management responsibilities for a small team and requires a strong blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement. What you’ll be doing Developing Reporting Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting strategy to ensure asset data processes meet regulatory and organisational asset management obligations. Asset Data Insight: Build a deep understanding of SPEN’s asset data inventory and its implications for business performance and regulatory reporting. KPI Development: Define and evolve a suite of KPIs focused on asset data quality, integrity, and exception management across all asset data processes. Insight-Driven Decision Making: Analyse and interpret reporting outputs to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in operational and data processes. Governance of Reporting Frameworks: Oversee the creation, development, and controlled issuance of reports and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enabling informed decision-making. Advanced Analytics Enablement: Support the adoption of innovative analytical tools and technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and identify opportunities for value-added initiatives. Stakeholder Communication: Lead the preparation of presentations and responses to internal and external information requests, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. Relationship Management: Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders across SPEN to support collaboration and drive organisational success. What you’ll bring Degree-level education or equivalent experience in business analytics, data reporting, or a related discipline. Proven experience in producing detailed analysis, strategic reports, and executive-level presentations. Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience in the electricity distribution/transmission industry, particularly in network asset management. Expertise in enterprise systems and asset data management platforms. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and align diverse stakeholder perspectives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Proficiency in data visualisation and analytical tools, including Power BI and Azure Synapse. Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
