Senior Finance Manager – Group Financial Reporting

We are partnering with a leading FTSE-listed international business to recruit a Senior Finance Manager – Group Financial Reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Group Finance function within a large, complex and fast-paced organisation operating across multiple international entities.
Reporting to the Head of Group Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of the Group Annual Report & Accounts, half-year disclosures, interim reporting, and statutory accounts across the organisation.
You will also take ownership of the growing non-financial reporting agenda, including sustainability and ESG reporting requirements such as CSRD and IFRS S1/S2.
This is a broad and visible role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, stakeholder management capability, and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead preparation and delivery of the Group Annual Report & Accounts, interim and half-year reporting
* Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
* Manage Group consolidation and elimination processes
* Oversee statutory accounting for multiple subsidiary entities
* Ensure timely submission and compliance with legal and regulatory obligationsSupport implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements
* Contribute to Group reporting improvement and finance transformation projects
* Own the non-financial reporting agenda including sustainability metrics and carbon reporting
* Support compliance with CSRD, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, and UK reporting regulations
* Develop and enhance ESG reporting frameworks and processes
* Work cross-functionally with Sustainability, Legal, Finance, and external stakeholders
* Monitor regulatory developments and reporting best practice
Stakeholder Management
* Manage day-to-day relationships with external auditors
* Collaborate closely with Technical Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Company Secretariat teams
* Support Audit Committee reporting and related presentations
* Build strong relationships across the wider finance organisation
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practice across reporting processes
You Will Have
* Strong IFRS and statutory reporting expertise
* Experience preparing consolidated accounts and Annual Reports
* Strong understanding of subsidiary statutory accounting
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience working within a controlled or SOX environment
* Strong leadership and people management capability
* Ability to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines
* Interest and experience in sustainability / non-financial reporting would be highly advantageous
