Location: Sittingbourne, Kent Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 per year (depending on experience) overtime opportunities Contract: Full-time, Permanent The Role This is a diverse and hands-on role within a reactive engineering business. You will work on the repair, overhaul, and installation of industrial mechanical equipment, including: Pumps (various types) AC/DC motors Gearboxes Other rotating plant and equipment Key duties will include: Inspection, strip-down, repair, and rebuild of mechanical equipment. Site-based repair and maintenance works across water utilities, power, and manufacturing sites. Fault finding, problem solving, and carrying out high-quality engineering repairs. Supporting installation and commissioning when required. What We’re Looking For Time-served apprenticeship or relevant mechanical engineering qualification. Experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, or similar rotating equipment. Previous water utilities industry experience (advantageous but not essential). Full, clean UK driving licence.
