Job Summary
Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Shift Manager with excellent work ethic to join our team in Chepstow. Reporting to the Site or Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the operational requirements within the Warehouse & Transport functions at your Site, through an operational team which may include a team of Drivers. You will be responsible for implementing the Companies Standard Operational Policies, Procedures and Practices including Health and Safety. Take a proactive approach to drive the Shift forward with new initiatives, whilst creating a positive working environment and culture for team members.
1. Location: Winnall
2. Working pattern: Sunday to Thursday 09:00am -18:00pm
3. Must Have: Previous experience in a logistical management role

About you:
5. Previous warehouse experience in a logistical management role
6. Experience of managing and developing a team with demonstrable leaderships skills
7. Experience of creating operational plans management
8. Experience of Health & Safety management in a similar environment
9. Ideally IOSH Managing Safely Qualification
About the role:
10. Creating daily and weekly plans as required
11. Drive efficiencies, whilst improving service levels
12. Ensure team members comply with all Legal and Company defined legislations and policies
13. Regularly achieve resource targets against budgets. Delivery of routine KPI targets
14. Promote and drive company initiatives effectively
15. Support the site to maximise stock levels and product availability. Maintain accurate records to ensure legal compliance.
16. Encourage cross-functional working to maximise development and efficiencies.
17. Chair and support in employee relations meetings as required, including Return to Work Interviews, Investigations, Attendance Review Meetings, Disciplinaries and Grievances
