Job Description
We have an exciting new role for anHR Assistant working within a fast-paced global business. The HR Assistant will be the go-to person for employees and managers, keeping everything running smoothly across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and contracts to absence tracking, performance processes, and day-to-day HR queries. Your role will include:
* Being first line HR support for employees and managers — answering queries, guiding on policies, and keeping our HR inbox in great shape.
* Preparing contracts, letters, amendments, and all the essential HR documentation that keeps things moving.
* Managing onboarding and offboarding, including system setup, ID badges, and exit interviews.
* Keeping employee files and HR systems accurate, secure, and up to date.
* Supporting performance processes — probation reviews, PIPs, disciplinary investigations, and annual appraisal data.
* Monitoring sickness absence and helping managers follow the right procedures.
* Helping prepare monthly HR metrics, the Gender Pay Gap report, and other key data.
What you’ll bring
* Solid admin and IT skills, ideally gained in an HR environment.
* Confidence working with employees and line managers.
* Strong organisation, accuracy, and a calm approach when things get busy.
* A professional, positive attitude and a genuine interest in building a long-term HR career.
* CIPD Level 3
