Description
You will be based at our Worsley Head Office Depot and be an integral part of our Metering contract responsible for managing the end-to-end process for all Civils activities. You will work with your team and closely collaborate with the Programme Manager to meet the client’s needs in the most cost-effective manner, ensuring profitability for Network Plus. You will provide operational leadership and technical expertise, working within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers, ensuring the programme is completed safely, within budget, and on time. Experience working in Water Metering Networks and the ability to engineer solutions on-site are essential, with a focus on completing work right first time. You will ensure safety, quality, and customer service are prioritized, meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and motivating a team, delegating appropriately, leading by example, challenging poor behaviour, and striving to meet delivery targets.
* Responsible for the Network Plus contract P&L, ensuring all work is completed right first time, within budget, and properly closed down.
* Collaborate with the programme and street works teams to ensure work is completed as planned, keeping the programme manager informed of any delays or ahead-of-schedule work.
* Take ownership of processes, proactively thinking ahead and implementing efficient methods of working.
* Complete Health & Safety incident and damage reports, conduct investigations, and manage disciplinary actions related to poor behaviours.
* Responsible for Streetworks performance, driving continuous improvement through defect and root cause analysis.
* Ensure all client and operational requirements are met professionally and efficiently.
* Provide daily and weekly reports, ensuring service levels and KPIs are achieved.
* Recruit staff and suppliers, ensuring all operatives have the necessary training and competencies.
* Contribute positively to the team by providing solutions and embracing change.
* Report safety issues in accordance with company procedures.
* Coach and develop staff to reach their potential.
* Monitor staff performance against specifications and instructions.
* Ensure all site inspections are completed as per the programme.
* Maintain close call reporting targets.
* Manage liaising with and overseeing subcontractors as required.
Experience and Qualifications
* Understanding of Modular Plus and ability to check forms.
* HNC Qualification or equivalent.
* NRWSA supervisory level certification.
* Experience with UU/Water networks.
* IOSH certification.
* Financial and commercial accountability skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
