The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join their field engineering team. The role is predominantly field-based, covering a local patch close to the Daventry headquarters, with minimal travel outside the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of CCTV and access control systems across a range of commercial and residential environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV and access control systems
* Fault diagnosis and rectification of security systems
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
* Providing a professional and customer-focused service on site
* Completion of job reports and documentation
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current standards and regulations
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in CCTV, access control, or similar security systems
* Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Strong technical and fault-finding capability
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently within a field-based role
* Professional, reliable, and well-presented
Package and Benefits
* Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
