About the Role You will work closely with Year 2 pupils, delivering targeted phonics interventions to boost reading confidence and prepare learners for the Phonics Screening Check. This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who enjoys working in small groups and tailoring lessons to individual needs. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging phonics sessions for Year 2 pupils Track and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed Provide additional support for pupils who require extra help Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to ensure consistency Create a positive, encouraging learning environment What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching phonics (Year 2 preferred) Strong knowledge of the Letters and Sounds or similar phonics schemes Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to differentiate teaching for varying learning needs Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
