Job Description Binocular Inspector Full time Derby What you will be doing: An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Binocular Inspector to join our Derby Compressor Discs and Drums Facility (DCDD), part of Rotatives UK and Compression. Responsibilities: In this role you will operate in a busy, world-class engineering and manufacturing environment and will be responsible for delivering the targets to meet customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up and standardising equipment, systematically inspecting parts, interpreting and evaluating for acceptance or rejection, and documenting results. Raising failed inspection and correction documentation Operation of the CAPP MES work booking system and INSPECT inspection results booking system Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method. Be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as used. Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. Where applicable, have a basic knowledge of operational experience and its effects upon hardware.
