Overview
The Position: Join the Strategy and Solutions Chapter, a hub of innovation that guides strategic priorities and strengthens Global Procurement's impact across Roche.
As our Sr. Procurement Solutions Manager (Procurement Governance), you become an Ambassador for Digital Procurement and Excellence – bringing structured thinking and creativity to the technology, processes and frameworks that shape how we work.
You thrive in a fast‑moving global environment and proactively drive a digital roadmap toward automation, efficiency and an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities
- You drive the digital procurement strategy — identifying and delivering approaches that move the wider roadmap forward.
- You take ownership of designated solutions as the subject‑matter expert, with an immediate focus on external workforce solutions and their governance and direction.
- You optimise processes and solutions continuously, maximising value through analytics and data insights.
- You collaborate across the matrix — partnering with Procurement, IT, Business Process Management and external vendors to align priorities and enhance enabling technologies.
- You build governance excellence — developing frameworks, guides, tools and training, and overseeing key configurations such as workflow, thresholds and access control in no‑code contexts.
- You shape vendor roadmaps — managing relationships with solution providers and influencing their products to meet Roche's needs.
Qualifications
- You hold a university degree in Business or IT and bring significant experience across Procurement, Supply Chain, Procurement Technology, or Management Consulting.
- You have deep expertise in procurement technology management, including backlog management, KPIs, and applying LLMs.
- You translate complex data into actionable insights and craft clear messages for senior stakeholders.
- You influence and collaborate across teams without direct authority, adapting quickly to changing priorities in a matrix organisation.

- Preferred: Certified expertise in Scrum/SAFe, LEAN, or Change Management.
- Preferred: Technical/coding experience or familiarity with low/no‑code platforms.
- Preferred: Business fluency in German, in addition to business fluency in English.
