Key Responsibilities
* To deliver high standards of teaching and learning and to monitor assessment processes in accordance with awarding body requirements.
* To deliver departmental requirements of core content that will support students to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.
* To deliver on Level 1, 2, 3 and HE programmes as required by the demands of the curriculum, specifically on our L2 Criminology, L3 Uniformed Protective Services & L3 Criminology programmes.
* Producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
* To co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students’ learning carried out by the course team.
* To communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students.
Skills, knowledge and expertise
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above
* Demonstrate broad knowledge of issues within the FE Sector.
* Experience of working within a public service/crime prevention environment (i.e. police)
