Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager / Technical Lead

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager / Technical Lead to join our client’s team in the UK. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong technical leadership and delivery expertise to drive successful project execution across software development, deployment, integration, and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project execution alongside implementation and services teams.
* Own and manage the project delivery model, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
* Coordinate with global teams including Solution Design, Application, Integration, and Configuration.
* Implement Agile methodologies, contributing to roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Release Train Engineer as needed.
* Build and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), track progress, and report to the Project Manager.
* Drive DevOps practices including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Test Automation.
* Collaborate closely with the Project Manager for risk, scope, and problem management.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable delivery and transparent communication.
* Monitor and improve delivery metrics: On-Time Delivery, Budget Compliance, Customer Satisfaction, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in software development and commissioning projects.
* Hands-on experience in DevOps and Agile frameworks.
* Familiarity with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
* Strong understanding of software integration and multi-site project delivery.
* Proficiency in programming with Java and/or C++.
* Experience with microservices, SOA, and multi-tier web architectures.
* Good understanding of software configuration tools: GitHub, TFS, SVN.
* Working knowledge of Linux/Windows, Kubernetes, relational databases, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Industry knowledge in Energy Management Systems (EMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), or Market Management Systems (MMS).
