Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM FM have an exciting opportunity for a Strategy Manager to join the team reporting directly to the FM Director. The Strategy Manager plays a vital enabling role in ensuring that all business activities across BAM FM are strategically aligned and effectively coordinated. This role supports the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) by providing governance, programme oversight, and strategic planning support, helping ensure that initiatives, plans and decisions contribute to the long-term success of BAM FM and its alignment with the broader BAM UK & Ireland (UK&I) objectives. Your mission Strategic Coordination & Governance Coordinate SLT action plans and strategic activity across the business. Maintain strategic oversight of business plans, transformation initiatives and operational priorities. Own the scheduling, coordination and follow-up of SLT governance meetings. Ensure decisions and actions from leadership forums are effectively tracked and followed through. Programme Management & Delivery Support Provide light-touch PMO support to ensure that strategic programmes are well structured and consistently reported. Monitor delivery progress, risks and benefits of key initiatives, providing visibility to senior stakeholders. Facilitate alignment across departments and functions to avoid duplication and maximise impact. Data, Insight & Reporting Compile and interpret business data and external insight to support strategic decision-making. Produce clear, well-designed reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholder communication. Translate performance metrics and feedback into actionable intelligence. Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Work collaboratively across teams (e.g. Finance, Commercial, People, Communications) to align activities with strategic objectives. Support the development of internal and external presentations, reports, and comms material that reinforce BAM FM’s strategic narrative. Assist in the planning and content development for leadership communications and client updates. Business & People Engagement Support the delivery of business-wide initiatives that enhance employee engagement, culture and talent development. Coordinate follow-up activity on employee surveys, leadership engagement events, and internal recognition programmes. Share best practice, insights and case studies that demonstrate success and build strategic understanding. Who are we looking for? Experience & Skills Required Experience in a strategy, business planning, PMO, or transformation role within a complex or operational business. Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing high-quality reports and presentations. Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and develop insight to inform strategic decisions. Comfortable engaging and working across diverse functions and senior stakeholder groups. Knowledge of programme governance and reporting frameworks (desirable).
