Job Title: Quality Inspector Shift: Day shift Pay: £15 per hour Location: Leicestershire, LE2 The Company: A well-established manufacturing company who produce high quality machined and fabricated products. The Quality Inspector Role: Quality check parts at each stage of the process including first offs and final inspections. Use quality checking tools including mircometres, verniers, calipers etc. Record and file all test and audit reports. The Candidate: Mechanical Engineering Background, knowledge of Steel standards and certifications would be beneficial. Capability to read Engineering Drawings. Basic IT Skills Willing to work in a team environment. Familiar with ISO Standards and processes. Ability to perform part audits, first-off and final inspections of materials and processes, WIP and finished goods Determine product compliance to drawings, processes and technical specifications. Be familiar with established inspection procedures and have the capability to use inspection/testing tools and instruments, knowledge of CMM Equipment would be an advantage. Familiarity with Romer Absolute Faro Arm would be an advantage Capability to Record & File all test and audit reports Identify and document nonconforming material in accordance with applicable procedures.
