Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in mainstream secondary schools?
We are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide day-to-day cover in mainstream secondary schools across Kings Heath and South Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who value flexibility and want to work around existing commitments.
The Role:
Deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
Manage classrooms of approximately 30 students independently
Maintain strong behaviour management and ensure a positive learning environment
Provide clear instructions and support students with their learning
Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leadership
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months’ experience working in secondary schools
Proven classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence to lead a class independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable, reliable, and professional
A strong subject specialism is highly desirable and will be considered a bonus.
