Hays are pleased to be partnering with a community-driven primary school situated in North Coventry. The school are seeking a dedicated Year 4 teacher to cover a planned absence from after Easter through to the end of the summer term. This is a full-time role with full teaching responsibilities, with part-time considered for the right candidate.
Your new role
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that build on pupils' growing independence and confidence in Key Stage 2.
* Working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality provision and continuity across the year group.
* Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners and supporting pupils to make strong progress.
* Keeping accurate assessment records and providing meaningful feedback to pupils and parents.
* Contributing to the wider school community and upholding the school's values in daily practice.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally within Key Stage 2.
* Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
* Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
