* Cover Supervisor * Location: Darlington Salary: £100 -£13 0 per day Immediate An ‘ outstanding ’ secondary with excellent resourced provision in Darlington is looking to appoint a confident and experienced cover supervisor to join their growing team. The headteacher would like to hear from candidates that have strong behaviour management and can build positive a rapport with pupils and staff quickly and easily. The staff at the school pride themselves on being friendly and supportive– making the school feel homely and a real community! The main duties will include: Supporting the pupils in their education Teaching and managing the behaviour of up to 28 pupils during lesson time Working with a teachers to deliver their planning and resources Supporting the planning and delivery of creative and innovative lessons Promoting independence with life skills Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care The ideal candidate will: Be available for work Monday to Friday Have experience as a teaching assistant Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves ) A fully checkable work history Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
