Head of Sales – Lead a High-Performing B2B Team
Location: Office-based, with travel across East Anglia
Are you a technically minded sales leader ready to take the next step? We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead a team of four talented Sales Managers within our dynamic B2B environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive growth, enhance customer relationships, and optimise sales performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of four Sales Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
Oversee daily B2B sales operations, ensuring exceptional service and strong client retention
Work cross-functionally with technical, operational, and customer support teams to resolve issues and deliver end-to-end solutions
Analyse performance metrics, prepare monthly sales reports, and present actionable insights to the Senior Leadership Team
Continuously refine sales systems, processes, and strategy to improve efficiency and profitability
Develop and implement effective cross-selling, up-selling, and lead-generation initiatives
Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team cultureWhat We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing and developing high-performing B2B sales teams
A strong technical sales background — ideally someone who began in a technical or engineering role before moving into sales leadership
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all levels
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance commercial goals and customer satisfaction
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
