Office Manager - HR & Operations Focus
📍 Location:Central London (Hybrid)
⏰ Monday-Friday | 10am-4pm
🏢 In-office: Mon-Wed | WFH: Thu-Fri
💰 £17-£19 per hour

Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for supporting a dynamic work environment? Our client, a leading international engineering consultancy, is seeking an enthusiastic Office Manager to join their team in Central London on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant organisation that values innovation and excellence!

The Role

You'll be the key point of contact for staff, supporting HR processes, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. This is a hands-on role where strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent Microsoft Office proficiency are essential.

HR Responsibilities:

Oversee HR operations including onboarding, probation reviews, and performance support.

Handle employee relations queries and escalate where necessary.

Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with UK employment law.

Contribute to HR policy development and people-focused projects.

Operational Responsibilities:

Manage the smooth running of the London office.

Coordinate office logistics and occasional travel arrangements.

Support compliance and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Company Matters:

Collaborate across HR and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Focus on enhancing the employee experience and office environment.

About You

Solid HR experience with good knowledge of UK employment law.

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel essential).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities, problem-solve, and take initiative.

What's on Offer

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.

Hybrid working: 3 days in office (Mon-Wed), 2 days from home (Thu-Fri).

Salary: Equivalent to £40,000 per annum (pro rata).
