Chor Amica Chamber Choir: Call For Applicants – Collaborative Pianist Position
Chor Amica Chamber Choir (London ON) is seeking a new collaborative pianist for the 2025-2026 season, to begin in September.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced collaborative pianist with an advanced degree in music (M.M. or higher) based in London or surrounding areas. Previous experience working with choirs in rehearsal and performance is essential; comfort leading sectional rehearsals and/or with baroque or contemporary music is an asset. We seek a talented team player who will help contribute to the collaborative musical environment and high performance standard that the choir is known for.
Applicants must be available for Sunday evening rehearsals (7:15-9:30pm). The choir performs 3-4 concerts per year, typically on Saturday afternoons or evenings; the collaborative pianist may be involved in some or all of these each season, depending on repertoire.
This is a per service position; compensation will be discussed with the successful candidate.
To apply, please submit a musical resume/CV and a short cover letter outlining your interest and fit, addressed to Patrick Murray, Artistic Director at info@choramica.ca. Applications will be reviewed by a committee including the artistic director and members of the board of directors. Selected applicants will be contacted for more information and next steps. Review of applications will begin on July 25.
