This is your chance to play a key role in a business that values initiative, professionalism, and commercial acumen.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nThey are looking for a commercially astute Estimator to take ownership of the costing and pricing process for a variety of commercial construction projects.
You'll play a vital role in winning work through accurate and competitive tenders, while ensuring risks are identified and margins protected. This is a key commercial role that interacts closely with project management and directors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for fit-out and refurbishment projects\nAnalyse drawings, specifications, and project information to produce accurate cost plans\nIdentify and assess project risks and value engineering opportunities\nLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing\nParticipate in client meetings, pre-construction planning, and value engineering exercises\nMaintain a database of rates, costs, and supplier contacts\nWork closely with the Director and wider team to develop commercially competitive bids\nSupport handover to the delivery team post-tender\nEnsure compliance with industry standards, procurement policies, and contractual obligations \n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nProven track record as an Estimator within commercial fit-out or refurbishment\nExcellent numerical, analytical, and commercial skills\nStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing\nExperience working with budgets up to £1M+\nProficiency in estimating software (e.g., Conquest, Causeway, or Excel-based systems)\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously \n\nIf this could be of interest, please send a CV to (url removed)
