About the Role As a PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging pupils to develop fitness, skills, and enjoyment in sport. You will promote a positive attitude to health, teamwork, and competition while inspiring pupils to reach their potential. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teaching a variety of sports and physical activities Encouraging pupil participation, fitness, and personal development Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and engagement Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development Supporting extracurricular activities, clubs, and school competitions Experience and Skills The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification Have strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Be committed to promoting physical fitness, wellbeing, and teamwork Be able to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply, with mentoring and support available.
