We supply specialist construction machinery tooling in the Oil, Gas, Construction, Mining, offshore and military spaces and big brand names like VOLVO!
Requirement
We are on the lookout for a business development executive to target these areas as part of our hyper‑growth due to new market demands.
Your role
You will be responsible for new and experienced business development within our markets at home and abroad! Speaking to new and existing clients, raising awareness of our brand and product range, generating new leads and sales for the business through multi‑channel communications (LinkedIn, email, cold calling/warm calling). This position is a split of 20% existing clients and 80% new clients. You'll work in a fast‑paced, positive environment where you will be part of our hyper‑growth and structured progression within the business.
The successful candidate would ideally look like this
* 3 to 5 years minimum experience in sales and business development
* Experience with multi‑channel lead generation
* A background within a similar market or global sales experience would be advantageous
* Functional skills for pitching, objection handling and closing
* Experience in B2B sales
* Competitive spirit
* Time management and ability to prioritise tasks
* Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and influencing skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to find innovative approaches to challenges
* Experience in a busy, diverse and demanding role, demonstrating strong organisational skills, ability to plan and prioritise a complex workload, and meet deadlines
* A positive attitude to working hard and achieving results
* Availability to start immediately
* Ability to manage through 3+ month sales cycle
What you will be doing
* Prospecting / cold calling
* Generating new leads
* Working to sales targets in a fast‑paced environment
* Reviewing your sales pipeline on an ongoing basis to ensure sales conversions are maximised
* Working with data and Office 365 Bespoke Dynamics CRM system
* Reporting and liaising with the global sales manager and UK MD
