Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Service Controller, you will:
* Understand Customer Needs: Identify and deliver the right resources to meet customer requests, ensuring a seamless repair process.
* Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the service repair process.
* Plan Resources: Utilize capacity and capability planning to fulfill customer service needs efficiently.
* Lead Repair Processes: Oversee the entire repair process from identifying needs to closing work orders and invoices.
* Ensure Safety: Prioritize the health and safety of both customers and service employees.
* Manage Engineers: Directly supervise and mentor a team of 4-8 engineers, addressing performance issues and conducting regular one-on-ones.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Use customer feedback and service metrics to enhance the customer experience and business performance.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:

* Excellent Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Safety Champion: A commitment to promoting safety in the workplace.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mobile and fixed equipment components and systems.
* Financial Awareness: Understanding of financial and commercial aspects of service delivery.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a technical or mechanical engineering role, with previous experience in a similar environment being a plus.
