Description
This Compliance Manager role sits within the Energy sector and is based in Leeds. The role involves:
* Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
* Manage a team of three risk & compliance professionals
* Lead on Ofgem compliance
* Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
* Monitor and assess compliance risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
* Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and legislative changes in Energy & Natural Resources.
* Collaborate with legal and operational teams to address compliance issues effectively.
* Prepare and deliver compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
* Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
