BD & Licensing Director, U.S.
Location: U.S. (Boston, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, or other major biopharma hubs; flexible/remote)
Job Responsibilities
* Lead business development and licensing activities in the U.S. market, focusing on antibody discovery, engineering, and related CRO services.
* Develop and execute U.S. market strategies to drive revenue growth through service contracts, strategic collaborations, and licensing opportunities.
* Manage the full business process from lead generation, technical discussion, proposal development, contract execution to project handover.
* Coordinate closely with internal R&D, project management, legal, and executive teams to ensure alignment and successful deal execution.
* Represent the company at major industry conferences, partnering events, and roadshows to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree or above in biopharma, immunology, antibody engineering, life sciences, or a related field; PhD preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in business development, licensing, or strategic partnerships within biotech, pharma, or antibody-focused CROs.
* Strong understanding of antibody drug development and CRO service models; experience with licensing or strategic alliance deals preferred.
* Proven ability to independently drive deals from opportunity identification to contract closure.
* Established network within the U.S. biopharma industry is highly desirable.
