Basic Salary of £36,000 plus OTE to £42,000 for accredited service technician.We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our team at Martins Volkswagen Van Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. You will be professional, efficient, have good attention to detail and be able to integrate into the existing team through positive communication.Responsibilities include:* Perform maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on the full range of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time management* Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment, ODIS, to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair and warranty methods* Utilise company and Volkswagen systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out to brand standards* Complete Volkswagen training modules as required to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the product is maintained to the required level* Maintain your work area to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members* Being prepared to further develop your skills and knowledge to become the very best that you can beQualificationsIdeally you will be trained to:* Service Technician* Certified Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to Level 3)* VW Group accreditation is preferred.In return for your continued hard work, we will support you with coaching and development every step of the way.
