Programme Manager – Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited

The Role
The successful candidate will work within the Boeing Global Services Programme Management team, based in Frimley or Dublin. The team manages the post‑delivery modification of aircraft for our customers. Projects typically involve the integration of new equipment into the aircraft, such as seating, IFE equipment and galleys, lavatories and stowage. Working with Engineering, Airworthiness and Logistics teams, you will manage the execution of the project within the agreed schedule and budgetary constraints. This is a highly visible role that requires strong communication with team members and external stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience of aircraft modification projects is a distinct advantage. The position is hybrid and requires up to 50% travel, sometimes at short notice.
Responsibilities
* Act as focal point for the company to worldwide airline customers.
* Own the program schedule, meeting quality standards and financial controls from project award to final delivery.
* Identify and manage program risks, issues and opportunities to protect or improve program performance.
* Lead internal program teams to execute program requirements.
* Coordinate internal activities to ensure all tasks progress in line with program requirements.
* Lead major milestone meetings with the customer (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI) and compile minutes and action plans.
* Portray the customers’ expectations and requirements to the Engineering team to ensure alignment.
* Provide weekly status updates, milestone schedules and risk analysis summaries.
* Communicate program status, ongoing financial viability and identification of key issues to senior management.
* Manage customer change requests and support proposals for schedule and cost impact.
* Initiate invoicing of project payments and follow‑up on payment as required.
* Support the creation of proposals, as required, in response to customer RFPs.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
* Ability to work independently without high levels of supervision (self‑motivated).
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience of aircraft modification or integration projects.
* Proficient in all MS Office applications, including MS Project.
* Minimum BS Degree in a STEM field and/or at least 5 years’ experience in a related commercial/military aerospace business.
* Qualification in Program Management or equivalent (PMP or CPM, etc.).
