SEN teachers required (Full Time)\n\nHillingdon\n\nASAP Start\n\n£160-£230\n\nVeritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.\n\nWe are currently seeking experienced SEN teachers for full time teaching roles in the borough of Hillingdon. The appointed teachers will ideally be qualified with QTS, however, we will also consider unqualified teachers with strong teaching experience within SEN.\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to students with special educational needs, ensuring they are supported both academically and personally.
You will play a key role in helping students develop their confidence, social skills, and independence in a nurturing and inclusive environment.\n\nYou will be working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff members, and will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to meeting each student's individual needs and helping them achieve their full potential.\n\nKey Responsibilities for SEN Teacher:\n\nPlan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN\nSupport students in overcoming barriers to learning and help build their confidence and independence\nWork closely with other other members of staff to provide effective support that meets each students needs\nAssess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as required\nFoster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive\nCommunicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them updated on student progressAbout You:\n\nExperienced in teaching students with SEN\nQTS (ideal)\nA strong understanding of SEN\nPatient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting students with special educational needs\nStrong communication and teamwork skillsTo be considered for this position please submit an updated CV showing all relavent experience applicable to the role. \n\nAPPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION\n\nAll applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy\nYour CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained\nYou must have legal right to work in the UK\nYou must be willing to attend a registration interviewVeritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.
