Sign Print Identity is growing fast and we’ve got big ambitions to keep that momentum

going.

We’re one of the north west’s premier signage and graphics companies, manufacturing and installing high-quality signs and graphics for organisations across the UK.

Our clients are typically those responsible for managing spaces, buildings, customer- facing environments and brands.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of that growth.


What you’ll be doing:

As Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be identifying new commercial opportunities and helping us secure new business. This is all about building and nurturing relationships, not the hard sell. Success in our industry comes from building trust, understanding client challenges and developing opportunities over time. You’ll be someone who listens well, asks the right questions and can demonstrate how our skills and expertise can genuinely help clients.


We’re proud of the way we tackle our clients’ challenges head on. We’re looking for someone with the same positive mindset, someone who brings energy and a real “get up and go” approach to developing new opportunities.


We’re looking for someone who sees business development as building long-term relationships and understanding client needs, not chasing quick wins.


In the role you’ll:

 Identify and develop new business opportunities across relevant sectors

 Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients and industry contacts

 Grow and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, using our CRM system to track progress

 Work closely with our Sales and Marketing Director and senior team to shape opportunities and proposals

 Support the preparation of pitches, proposals and presentations

 Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities

 Help identify where our expertise can add real value and support the conversion of opportunities into long-term partnerships


More details about the role:

 Full time role

 Hybrid working arrangements (office and home working)

 UK travel expected, with occasional overseas travel

 Commission-based package available


Required skills and experience:

 UK driving licence

 Comfortable using standard business software including word processing, spreadsheets and CRM programmes

 Experience within a relevant B2B environment, selling to similar audiences such as retailers, architects or designers

 Strong relationship-building and communication skills


Nice to have skills and experience:

 Experience within the signage, graphics or related industries
