Location: CODEM Composites Ltd, Unit E, Harrier Park, Southgate Way. Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YQ

A day in the life:
* Trim and fit components & moulds as specified by customer drawings and operating procedures – this could be anything from an Automotive part to a component taking off to space!
* Our industry is a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will trim and fit components promptly to meet excellent quality standards and strict F1 deadlines that we are renowned for. Engineering drawings are technical; therefore, you will need to know your stuff and understand complex drawings well.
* Proven experience in the application of surface preparation for bonding metallics and composites.
* De-moulding components without damaging the part of the mould using the correct tools provided.
* Trimming, fitting, and bonding complex assemblies with sub-assemblies, inserts and fixings.
* Problem-solving is key. You’ll be thinking on your feet and reacting accordingly.
