The Role: Business Development Manager (AI Apprenticeships & Workforce Upskilling)

As a Sales Rep at AiCore, you’ll be responsible for selling apprenticeship-led AI capability building to employers. You’ll be a first point of commercial contact, representing AiCore with high standards and urgency as we scale.


This is a role for someone who wants to win in a market that’s moving fast, and who wants real autonomy and ownership in a remote-first team.

What We Expect From You

Responsibilities

* Run a high-tempo sales cadence: outreach, discovery, follow-up, and tight pipeline hygiene.
* Sell consultatively: map apprenticeship-led AI capability building to business outcomes.
* Work our process, improve it, and contribute feedback loops across the team.
* Use AI-enabled tooling to reduce admin and increase selling time (we’re serious about AI in every function).
* Be a team player, win together, share learnings, raise the bar.


Results (example targets)

* Consistent pipeline creation (meetings booked with qualified employer stakeholders)
* Strong conversion through discovery → proposal → close
* High-quality handoffs to delivery/customer teams to protect outcomes and retention

(Final targets depend on segment and motion; the bar is high.)


Requirements

* Proven track record in phone/video-led sales (this is essential).
* Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders and navigating multi-threaded deals.
* Strong self-management in a remote environment.
* Coachable, direct, and able to give/receive candid feedback.
* High standards, high output, high integrity.


Location

* Remote-first (UK-centric business; collaboration across time zones).


Compensation

* £55k Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
* OTE £100k-£180k+
