The Role
We are seeking a junior Geo-Environmental Engineer with experience in site investigation contracting or consultancy. In this role, you will take an active lead in project managing Phase 2 site investigations, overseeing site works, and ensuring high technical standards are met. You will work on diverse projects across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and supervising geo-environmental Phase 2 site investigations.
* Conducting soil logging and sampling in accordance with BS5930.
* Preparing interpretative geotechnical and environmental reports.
* Overseeing remediation works and validation processes.
* Collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver efficient project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Environmental Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (MSc preferred).
* Strong technical knowledge of site investigation techniques and contaminated land assessments.
* Experience in geotechnical interpretation is desirable.
* A full UK driving license is essential.
