Team leader required for Nottingham based company Robertson Recruitment are working with a growing and reputable company committed to delivering reliable, environmentally responsible waste collection and recycling services to commercial and domestic clients. As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of operatives/drivers, ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. You will play a key role in maintaining productivity, promoting health & safety, and delivering excellent service to customers. Working hours: 8am - 8pm. 12 hour shifts. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise operational staff on a day-to-day basis Ensure waste collection and recycling operations are completed efficiently Monitor staff performance, attendance, and productivity Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong health & safety culture Support training and onboarding of new team members Handle operational issues and escalate where necessary Complete daily reports and operational paperwork Liaise with management, drivers, and customers professionally Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role Experience within waste management, recycling, logistics, or industrial operations preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good understanding of health & safety procedures Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude What We Offer Competitive salary Weekly pay Overtime opportunities Company pension scheme Training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Career progression within a growing company Please get in touch if you are interested in this role
