Description
The Influencer Executive will be responsible for supporting and executing River Island's influencer marketing strategy. This role will focus on identifying and managing influencer partnerships, delivering impactful campaigns, and growing brand love through authentic content and storytelling across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Influencer Campaign Execution:
Plan and execute influencer campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms, from brief to delivery and reporting.
* Influencer Outreach & Relationship Management:
Identify, contact, and maintain relationships with influencers, talent agencies, and creators that align with River Island's brand values and target audience.
* Gifting & Product Seeding:
Manage the influencer gifting strategy, including sending out seasonal drops, tracking engagement, and optimising outreach.
* Content Coordination:
Work closely with influencers to ensure content aligns with campaign goals, brand guidelines, and key messaging.
* Trend Spotting & Talent Scouting:
Stay ahead of digital trends, up-and-coming creators, and new platform features to inform future campaigns.
* Campaign Reporting & Analysis:
Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, sales impact (where applicable), and earned media value. Compile performance reports and make data-driven recommendations.
* Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work alongside PR, Social, Creative, Buying, and Digital teams to ensure influencer campaigns are integrated into the wider marketing calendar.
Key Skills & Experience
* 1–2 years' experience in influencer marketing (brand-side, agency, or platform)
* Demonstrated knowledge of social media and influencer landscape, especially Instagram and TikTok
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to build relationships with influencers and internal teams
* Well-organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
* Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment
* Experience with influencer platforms/tools (e.g., Tribe, Dash Hudson, etc.) is a plus
