Purpose of the role & how you will contribute
We have an exciting opportunity to join the NFU’s busy People Team. As HR Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for day‑to‑day enquiries from colleagues, providing advice and guidance or escalating to other team members as appropriate. You will be responsible for administering and coordinating aspects of the employment lifecycle in a professional manner, including but not limited to recruitment, employment contracts, and letters.
It is essential that you work well within a team, processing high volumes of work while ensuring exceptional attention to detail within agreed timeframes. You will be fundamental in providing a proactive administrative service across a range of HR functions and enjoy the challenge of a diverse and demanding workload. With excellent organisation and communication skills, you will be a team player who can develop relationships and rapport easily with people face‑to‑face, via email and telephone.
Successful candidates will need their own dependable transport, as public transport is not frequently available to the beautiful work setting of Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
What you’ll bring
You will have previous experience of working in a busy administrative role, effectively establishing, maintaining and developing relationships. You will be a highly organised individual with a positive disposition and the ability to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have a keen eye for detail and effective problem‑solving skills.
