Job Description
This is a great opportunity to enhance your finance experience. You will be responsible for reviewing financial data, preparing analyses and providing insightful commentary for Finance Business Partners to aid strategic decision-making processes. You will gain great exposure across all levels of the business, achieved through an understanding of sub-ledger processes, preparation of monthly reporting, whilst also working collaboratively with various finance and non-finance teams.
Your role will involve
* Analysing income and expenditure transactions, providing variance analysis against the budget and forecasts
* Processing manual journals to ensure the accuracy of financial data
* Reconciling financial and non-financial transactions, ensuring data integrity
* Providing Analysis and Reporting Packs for the month-end on agreed processes
* Maintaining communications with key customers and business areas, and continuous nurturing of relationships to ensure the centre of excellence is maintained and continues to provide value-added service to the Business
* Supporting the Team Manager in improved results through increased employee engagement
* Supporting the Team Manager in continuing the development culture, through the development and coaching of key team members
These skills are essential
* Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Self-motivated and flexible team player, also comfortable working on own initiative
* Excellent interpersonal skills, evidenced by communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to adapt and embrace change
Ideally, you’ll also have:
* Full or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or other if applicable)

Working location
Your contractual place of work willbe the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgowsoyou'llneed to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work.
We alsohavesome hybrid roles with a working approach which offers the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and willbeconfirmed during the recruitment process.
